Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School

• Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School (KPKS) is a co-educational school established in 2004, located at Sangam Chowk, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The school provides education from Pre-Nursery through Grade 10.

• The school follows a student-centred and activity-based approach, encouraging learners to actively participate in their education rather than relying solely on traditional lecture-based teaching.

• KPKS places strong emphasis on the 4Cs — Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking — as key skills for students' academic and personal development.

• The school aims to support holistic development and global citizenship, combining academic learning with practical experiences, leadership opportunities, creativity, and character development.

• Students have access to a wide range of extracurricular and co-curricular activities, including sports, music, art, drama, dance, robotics, innovation, languages, and Model United Nations activities.

• The school also provides opportunities for community service, educational programs, field trips, competitions, and career-oriented activities, helping students develop practical skills and social responsibility.

• KPKS maintains a relatively small student-teacher ratio of around 18–22 students per class and provides transportation and dining facilities to support students and families.

• Its overall philosophy is centered on creating a supportive environment where children are encouraged to take an active role in their learning, development, and future goals.
