Him Rashmi High School is a private English-medium school located in Manamaiju, Tarakeshwor, Kathmandu, and was established in 1999. It has become an established educational institution serving students in northern Kathmandu.
The school aims to provide holistic education, with an emphasis on academic achievement as well as students' personal, social, and practical development.
Him Rashmi focuses on humanitarian values and skill-based education, encouraging students to develop not only subject knowledge but also confidence, responsibility, communication, and practical abilities.
The school provides education from Nursery through Grade 12, allowing students to continue their education within the same institution from the early years through higher secondary level.
At the +2 level, the institution offers Management and Computer Science programs under the National Examinations Board (NEB).
The school provides a range of facilities and student-support services, including science and computer laboratories, library and e-library resources, multimedia classrooms, cafeteria, transportation, counselling, sports, music, dance, educational tours, and extracurricular activities.
Him Rashmi has also received recognition through the International School Award (ISA) associated with the British Council, reflecting its involvement in international-school activities and educational initiatives.
The school's overall approach is intended to create a supportive environment where students can strengthen their academic knowledge, creativity, discipline, leadership, communication skills, and social awareness.
With its combination of school-level and higher-secondary education, Him Rashmi serves as a comprehensive educational institution for families in Manamaiju and the wider Tarakeshwor area.
