Atul Memorial Gurukul, currently presented as Atul Smriti Gurukul, is a specialized educational and cultural institution based in Tinkune, Kathmandu. It was established in 2012, evolving from the Atul Memorial Society founded in 2005 in memory of renowned Nepali tabla maestro Atul Prasad Gautam.
The Gurukul's main objective is to preserve and promote Nepali and South Asian classical music, while combining traditional musical education with spirituality, yoga and modern learning. It operates as a non-profit organization and also supports talented and underprivileged students through scholarships and music-training opportunities.
