Adarsha Vidya Mandir

Adarsha Vidya Mandir (AVM) is one of the long-established schools in Manbhawan, Lalitpur, founded by educator Satya Narayan Bahadur Shrestha in 1966. The institution was established with the philosophy “Be Good. Do Good.”, placing character development alongside academic education at the center of its educational approach.

AVM provides education from Nursery through Grade 12, combining academic learning with opportunities for students to develop creativity, confidence, communication skills, physical abilities and social responsibility. The school has multiple buildings, playgrounds, basketball courts, library and laboratory facilities, and provides extracurricular and other student-development activities.

The school also has a dedicated pre-school wing, established in 2069 B.S., serving children aged approximately 3–6 years through international play-way methods in a warm and caring environment.
